Antioch's New Sutter Delta Avanced Wound Center

Hyperbaric Chamber(s) units are installed and ready for patient carerichlen construction hitachi santa Clara before cafe remodel

2,848 sq-ft. The main project to forfill Richlen's contract with Sutter to prepare chamber room for the installation of two (2) monoplace hyperbaric oxygen chambers with utilities readily available to hook-up a third chamber. Our team worked closely with Praxair Health and Diversified Clinical Services.

Interior scope: Demo existing medical space walls, and build-out three (3) patient examine rooms, changing rooms with lockers outside, supply room, physician dictation office, reception welcome area, and waiting area. ADA upgrades applied to the sink cabinets in all examination rooms, and lavatory signage.

Exterior work included constructing a tank lox yard, an enclosed 14' x 19' masonry fence section for the 1500-gallon Praxair tank (8' x 8' in diameter) with an accessible rolling chain link gate fence to tank's fill station and four (4) medical gas cylinders. To complete the lox yard we removed parking spaces, and relocated sidewalk, added ADA ramp, and curbs.

Safety took precedence from the beginning, highly flammable lines, copper vent line(s) (unthreaded) connected to each chamber. Each chamber had to have its own exhaust line. Zone shut-off valve (for chamber gas supply) installed immediately outside the hyperbaric room, easily accessible by personnel. Installation of an AIMCO alarm functions in the reception station, measuring the high and low-pressure level of the main Praxair tank. All equipment including tanks, weighing over four hundred pounds require installment of anchors in-place Eyebolts with hook-to-hook Turnbuckle.
