GSA US General Services Administration in San Jose
Richlen performed renovations at the Robert F. Peckham Federal Building & Courthouse, 280 South First Street, San Jose.
The 3,942 sq-ft lounge is located off the main lobby of the Courthouse on the first floor and includes conference rooms, private telephones stations, a Pantry/Workroom in addition to an open seating area.
The remodel was completed in One Phase and included an extensive amount of demolition.
Richlen’s crews removed walls, doors, frames & millwork, ceilings and flooring throughout [recycling materials and waste per City of San Jose requirements].
This particular project featured a significant amount of Millwork and Glass.
•Phone Room Counters - (2) each new P-lam counters with in-wall steel supports
•Pantry - new p-lam uppers, lowers & countertop
•Conference room – (2) each new stain grade credenzas.
•Banquette seating
•Press room –New p-lam counters and supports on three walls
•Touch-Down Stations – (6) each new wood grain counters with p-lam support legs, fluted glass backs & dividers, rear gyp board walls & Elec/Tele/Data feeds.
Glass
•New (3) 3'- 8-6”- ½” clear tempered glass doors
•New (1) 6'- 8-6”- ½” clear tempered glass doors
•Doors to have #4 finish, 4” tapered rails, 12” back to back pulls and floor closers.
New ½” clear glass at Conf Rms set into aluminum u-channel with butt joints
New 3/16” fluted glass at (6) work stations.
