Emeryville's Gracenote is located at 2000 Powell Street. Their two floor occupancy headquarters has a stunning view of the Bay.

The Tenant Improvement project consisted of Gracenote's existing suite on the 13th floor to occupying both the 13th and 15th floors.

Richlen worked attentively with the MEP (Randall Lamb Engineers) firm to deliver Gracenote's corporate office expansion. Phase one included modifications to the 15th floor. Our challenge on the 13th floor (Phase 2) renovations was to match the upgraded “look and feel” of the 15th floor space. Scope for Gracenote's new space(s) consisted of open plan workstations, 25 offices on the 13th floor and 28 on the 15th (there were a few existing offices that we did not build-out), and six (6) conference rooms. A 29 feet wall of the 15th floor breakroom features “Walk-talker” film. Gracenote employees can use Magic Markers on the wall, which easily erase for demonstrations etc. In each of the six (6) conference rooms, one wall features Walk-talker film. All conference rooms have video conferencing and two side-by-side flat panel monitors with mounted ceiling projectors. Additional interior highlights included: A significant amount of cabinetry in kitchen and conference rooms, soundscape 4'x4' acoustical clouds in two locations, server room, and wall wraps.

Gracenote is an Internet-based Media Recognition Service

The company licenses to software and hardware developers for use in their CD players, CD burners, MP3 players and encoders, catalogers, jukeboxes, cell phones, car audio systems, and home media center applications (among others).
