The 14,000 sq-ft space was originally designed for a dot-com firm who never moved into the historical 1908 Adam Grant Building's 14th & 15th (Penthouse) floors. Duncan/Channon knew they wanted to utilized some of the existing space’s design features...they also knew they wanted to be an integral part of the design communication and construction process. Our Design Assist service allowed this flexibility and played a decisive role in designing their 15th floor Penthouse.From a ceiling which included a rediscovered skylight to the unique flooring design, we refurbished, renovated and got innovative! Our team collaboration managed to salvage an existing 1900’s vault, and make it into a wine storage closet space with the vault’s original door!
