San Francisco's British Consulate at One Sansome Street gets a remodel
We have completed three (3) projects for British Consulate
At the time of the last tenant improvement for the British Consulate the building was under LEED certification review. Projects Richlen completed for The British Consulate have LEED components and were intentionally used for the purpose to help One Sansome achieve LEED certification.
•2008-Two (2) phase (6,000 sq-ft) tenant improvement & renovation, while office was still occupied. Phase One (1) completed carpet and ceiling removal and replacement. New paint with accent colors, and creation of new mail room with millwork and wall coverings. New grid and tile as well as installation of “Day Light Harvesting System”. Phase Two (2), paint and carpet.
•2007 Replacement of acoustical ceiling and soffit
•2000 Renovation of entire lobby and Expansion of British Consulates
offices: Included relocation of three security windows - reused all
existing ballistic glass, stainless steel frame work, and transaction tops.
Installed security walls (blast resistance) in main lobby.
•Background check documentation on all personnel was required
Due to heighten security measures, finished project photographs were restricted.
