San Francisco's 550 California Street Building gets a brand New Emergency Chiller Generator

Richlen completed the installation of the new emergency generator (Model C15-500kW, 60Hz, 480V Standby Genset by Peterson Power Systems, Inc.,) and its supporting equipment in one (1) weekend day. The project entailed hoisting and installing the generator to the existing building mechanical well 700 sq-ft space located one (1) level above the garage. Richlen partially demolished the mechanical well to upgrade it with new fireproofed structural steel supports and new fireproofed metal deck roofing. We also constructed a new electrical room enclosure on the upper basement floor level. Minor modifications were completed to the existing 6th floor electrical room.
